Re: Zeon's 320mm Bazookas

I am assuming their the same, just showing the designs evolution.

1st one is based off an enlarged Zaku Bazooka as shown by its 4 rear vents.
2nd is more in line with the DOM Giant Bazooka with the new magazine shape.

Re: Tachikoma

Simple, they are built to self learn and then share new individual data between them selves...this plus the quirks induced by natural oil = sentience and self sacrifice.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II

Just looked at new teaser images for the Age FX, http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7ujF_-BLPF0/T9-3UEhLZtI/AAAAAAACtUo/-VFR_dXD_bU/s1600/1231.jpg the way the torso is designed... reminds me of V2 Gundam I don't see the similarity . I see what GNRoyalFlash is getting at...the FX has under slung intakes on t...

Re: Bandai Mechanic Collection kits

Pretty nice kit....your paintings better than mine....I just keep slapping it on. See my kit page http://www.mechatalk.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14801 The Getter looks nice what sort of scale is it compared to a 1/44th or 1/100 Gunpla? Also liking the internal frame...almost earlyish MG or the 1/1...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II

Really loved the OTT Age Fortress. That combined 4 cannon shot was pretty ZZ, its pretty much the Mudrock Gundam's hovering abilities with the Seravee's fire power.

Re: Victory Gundam

Loved V for all its well paced fights and sad moments. Just have to go with all the death and more death....and well more death for the rewards of the V2 wings of light and Uso (even at 13) being one of the best Gundam heroes.

Re: First Impressions of Turn A Gundam

Don't just judge them based on the lineart. They may look really odd there, but they look much better, or at the very least, more normal, in the actual animation (Which is of great quality), so don't let that keep you from watching the show (Same goes for Victory, as both are excellent, IMO). Yeah ...

Re: First Impressions of Turn A Gundam

Agree with most of the above....Ord love and the ending aside. But as we have seen many times in the Age thread lets please not see another thread stuffed with Duel's (hatred and slagging off of everything he does not like) vs. Soma (strong female character) Taozi :D Turn A has some great battles an...

Re: First Impressions of Turn A Gundam

Ah yes, Turn A Gundam or as I like to call it "Tomino homages in the victorian era and it is boring: The series. Oh yeah, and we have an "all powerful" machine called gundam thrown in for toy sells despite the lack of much mecha". It really doesn't deserve 85% the praise it gets...

Its an ok start so far. Cant quite like Godzillazoidgreenranger mecha but liking Kio and his GF so far. Bit unsettling that the poor kids been secretly trained to kill by loveable rouge grandpa. Hope to see how he deals with killing real people, will he go all emo seed? Hope not. and... Kio dads so ...

I have the 00 Raiser, Tieren Space Type and GN-X all good kits with minimum stickers and good construction. You can make em look great with just a panel liner and a few Gundam Markers.

Re: MSG novel tech question

The novels were written before the technical details of mega particles had been established. And by "established," I mean "made up." :-) -- Mark :D :D :D As Mark said Tomino wrote the book before the mainstream Tech info, which was most likely written by a range of people over a...

Amphibias Shagohod ?

Just been playing through MGS HD on my PS3 and I was wondering if the Shagohod could cross deep water. Its rear is essentially a hover craft and the front mounts two Archimedes screw. In addition it mounts two rocket engines on its sides normally used to accelerate the Shagohod up to 300 miles per h...

Update: RX-78GP03 Dendrobium Orchis Unit 3

Hello again. Built this about 5 years back and soon after I took a hot needle and a small blow torch to it to turn it into my custom RX-78GP03 Dendrobium Orchis Unit 3. I added two large gatling guns and a lot of battle damage. Enjoy...comments welcome. http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l110/Apsalus...
