Re: BattleField/Gundam game

It's called Mobile ops: Operation Troy (alternately, Mobile ops: The One Year War). Don't take my word for it, I've never played it, but by all accounts it is pretty terrible. But, that's what they said about Crossfire/TGIS

Re: Gundamn! Mailbag Drop Box

What would you consider to be the most mistreated machine in Gundam. What immediately comes to mind for me is Kou trashing the Zephranthes before the refit for space. That or the methuss 2. Have there been any series, gundam of otherwise, in which you prefered the original mecha(s) over the season 2...

Re: Mobile Suit Colors

Along with the repainted Mark II, the Hyaku Shiki was painted in shiny gold as a message to the Titans that the AEUG could develop their own suits. Having a machine that would be in high visibility in space was a direct insult to the Titan's use of dark colours, probably both in that they were show...

Re: A curious question on the GP01

Wasn't the Gp 01 originally intended to be excusively a land combat ms, but then the fb upgrade was created due to Anahiem not having the funds to produce unit 4?

Re: Giant swords, are they feasible?

I don't think that the heat-based zeon weapons would be possible and would most likely either melt of warp on impact. The anti ship swords from CE dont really apply here, but they are equally implausible. On the other hand GN blades, with no heating elements, and being made of E-carbon coated in GN ...

Re: Zeta's Beam Confuse

Is it ever made clear what exactly happens to create "beam confuse"? Is it just the minovsky condenser exploding or something else?

Re: Vibrating blades

Speaking of which, I wonder whether the sonic daggers used by the VMS in Gundam 00 series has some plasma cutter mechanisms to assist it though? Since said blade also doubles as a long generated plasma sword afterall. I was under the impression that the HRL used vibroblades, the AEU used sonic blad...

Re: Perfect gundam game (nothings perfect though)

I think that The perfect gundam game would have the basic battlefield-like premise of operation troy, add the location specific damage of crossfire/ target in sight, include space combat and first person perspective, allow you to explore and interact with the crew of your ship, and have a great peri...
