Re: Gundam Side Story: Missing Link MS

Thanks for the last few pages of the comic in return I will fill in what I know. This "series" are mant to fill in details of the animation. A few character fill in: The Lady Zeon Ace Pilot (lady with glasses and tattoo) Shows up as the leader in the support/supply team for those heavily a...

Re: Gundam Side Story: Missing Link MS

Not only that, in Senjo no Kizuna you get the special skin/model also. (It was in a special event, don't think you can get it now, but you can use it if you have it) There are some differences, and parts of it looks like a regular Gelgoog. But it is different from a regular Gelgoog side to side. Oh ...

Re: Gundam Side Story: Missing Link MS

I do find it a bit odd they kept the Gelgoog the same, but... they ended up changing the GM Sniper II's BR that is used in the game. In the final battle, it uses the 'prototype beam rifle,' but on this, it appears to use the GM Sniper's long range beam rifle. Not that I mind either way, it was just...

Re: Gundam Side Story: Missing Link MS

Not sure if it is true, but according to one source the Pale-Rider that comes with the box set is in a Limited Color Scheme. So maybe the special white is limited color scheme?

Re: Dom's chest beam gun

From what I remember it is a failed design. It is some kind of scattered beam gun design to fill the role of a vulcan , and some say with the additional function of connecting ot other weapons. HOWEVER the design is flawed and it does not have the power to damage other MS, although the disruptive fl...

I guess it should be "zero". It is written in the same format as the great WWII warplane.

Re: Gundam Side Story: Missing Link MS

GM Intercept Custom is not in Kizuna (yes we get Guard Custom, which can be fast) G type Zaku is a nice touch, not sure about the new RX-81. As for the Gun cannon, I guess efsf needs some variant too, this one seems like 3D variant. Happy with the new heat axe of Efreet, though I think the gouf styl...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Mecha Thread Mk I

FYI, the "Tiger Pierce and Gerbera Straight" and "Kikuichimonji and Kotetsu"... it is THE SAME THING, one is translated by phonics and one is translated by meaning(?), which is stupid. There are names of real famous swords. As we know it most animations like to reuse names like t...

Re: Dawn of the Zaku

I have seen both Guntank and Ball listed as 120mm also. And got used to treating them as 120mm. Currently playing gundam kizuna and checked. It is mentioned as 120mm both in background and in game. Same goes for mass production Guntank. (The transformer Guntank as in Igloo II is marked as 220mm) But...

Re: MS Encyclopedia: What's Official?

Sentinel Series have a copyright problem or something like that. Basically I think Sunrise/BandaiNamco owns the MS design and characters and things like that, but the story belongs to another party. So having the MS and character show up is of little problem, as long as the whole story is not played...

Re: Dawn of the Zaku

The C-Type with flattened spikes are actually showing up in many different publications also. At one point I thought that was the standard setup of the C-Type even, but maybe it is just an earlier version with minor variant of the C-Type (like how you get J-Type and those that are converted to J-Typ...

Re: Something found in Plot to Assassinate Gihren

The text next to the picture of the 4 people says something similar to "the 4 leaders of the assassination scheme is executed"

Death of Sasro Zabi is described in the Origin series, something about explosions while inside a car, also how Dozle got the scars.

Re: Gundam Thunderbolt mecha question

This thing has firepower way higher than the sniper MS. Well, the MS already have sensors and other control systems, but the large scale gun is not that mobile, so it is more like a manned turret. Also the reason why the MS are not the newest models and the use of recycled pilots (so far all pilots ...

Re: Gundam Thunderbolt mecha question

Those beams from that big gun will definitely go through a ship.

In the comic therre is also another version where a DOM is manning the big gun.

Obviously the controls of these units are different, to beter interact with the pilots with special needs.

Re: Dawn of the Zaku

Thanks for the info! So the nuclear type is indeed just a MS-06C then. I would have expacted otherwise given the different look and the mentioning of heat resistant materials and what not on them. In this case then the nuclear units would be produced from an early MS-06C version, which might be thos...

Re: Dawn of the Zaku

Hm, this is still pretty vague as far as sourcing. You mentioned a nuclear warhead-equipped version of the MS-06A, which sounds vaguely familiar, but do you remember where it's from? A game, a manga, a custom model build...? As for the MS-05S, you're right that this appears in "Zeonic Front&qu...

Re: Dawn of the Zaku

Sorry for my lack of exact books and sources, it has been a while and my memory is blurred, but I can try to give pointers to where the things are likely from, please fill in the correct info if you find them. Thanks, and Sieg Zeon! MS-06A as "pre-mass production type" (先行量産型) indeed, whic...
