Re: Iron Man 3

Howard Stark in Captain America? Play that up please!

If Marvel manages to build up a significant amount of series crossover I'll be thrilled. I love it when a creator makes a consistent universe.

Re: By Mecha Talk Popular Demand

I have absolutely no interest in making this into a game. My only grand ambition is to make a ~30 second teaser. In the meantime, I am producing: 1) This poster in production. 2) A page for the antagonists. 3) A page for the love interest. 4) This animated map of the world! >---< Themes: If there wa...

Re: Place Your Animation Requests

Definitely needs more detail. What do you want the title to say? I'm not familiar with much Gundam. I don't know what a Salamis Kai or its Nemo looks like.

Ah, I see. Nope, don't hold back your ideas. You might as well put your ideas on the table for me to review and consider.

Re: Place Your Animation Requests

Y'all have taken too long to say anything more about your requests. Also, ydawg314's request is taking me longer than expected to finish. Since you don't seem too enthusiastic about even your own requests, I rescind my offer to do them.

Re: Ghost in the Shell Discussion Thread

I was also mildly annoyed by the Major's wardrobe. I chalked it up to: A) Not giving a crap about what other people think, so going with comfort. B) Sexual intimidation. Also, with her general coldness, I'm pretty sure if she softened up or slowed down to be polite, she would lose the clarity that m...

Re: What do you want to see in the next Gundam series?

I found myself agreeing with many of the observations and requests here. It is unlikely that Bandai or Sunrise will move Gundam more towards Real Robot, yet we are hardly alone, so we should help ourselves.

Inspired by the thread and taking many of the demands into account, I made this.

It's obviously the work of Zeon supporters.

For that matter, why isn't there a Red Comet statue?

Re: Japan isn't the only one with a Gundam statue.

When I saw this on Sankaku... oh dear... what a monstrosity... Looks like a horrible mix of a Gundam, Mazinger, and god knows what else China butchered in. Sounds like JETTOH JAGUA! You know the 13-year-olds will love it. They may have well designed it with that in mind. Or yeah, they could have no...

Lawl. I do indeed have books on weapons and U-boats and warships... paid more attention to small arms, though.

Now that you mention books, I really need to own a book about tanks.

Vehicle Terminology Question

On a turret, what is the name for the sheath of flexible material, which seals off the space between the gun barrel and the edges of the slot?

So frustrating! I can't find the answer anywhere.

Re: Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka?

I couldn't believe Seraphim actually did that. It seemed terribly out of character. She must be girlier than I thought. I'd totally try to steal a kiss even if I had to put my life on the line. Inorite? I'd be even more tempted if I was a regenerative zombie and a masou shoujou, to boot. I really wa...

Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka?

I challenge you to watch the first episode and not laugh at the last few scenes. The show reminds me of Haruhi, although this is more fast-paced and less cerebral. Animation quality and shot composition are full-blast. Considering the main character is a zombie, he uses unconventional tactics, like...

Re: Infinite Stratos

So you like crappy, rushed endings that resolve absolutely nothing? With Infinite Stratos, yes. The show is good fun but the material is thin, so I don't take it seriously. I think this series is doing well enough to get a second, equally inconclusive season, as is the Japanese way it seems. YES. :...

Alright sounds good.

Since these two additional requests have arrived, whatever may come of them, I am done taking requests. You can still post requests for me to look at, but I no longer guarantee I will get to them.

Re: Infinite Stratos

Because you can have fanservice in non-harem shows. Fanservice isn't unique to the 'harem genre' Mm. I meant within the harem genre, it's rarely separated. The reviewer who jumped the gun was probably reacting to the fanservice-violence cycle as it occurs within harems. If that same reviewer hated ...

Re: Infinite Stratos

Well, I've been pretty clear on my opinions of tsunderes and the beatings they give up. I read it somewhere once, but it has slipped my mind. However stuff like that should be separated from the fanservice itself. Harem rarely does. Why should we? I remember back in the day when Love Hina recieved ...
