Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk III
Besides, a unicorn was a Johnny Ridden/Kycilia thing long before Amuro started using it, was it not?
Just an aside about how many different people use the unicorn as a symbol in UC.

For example, what is the sphere of influence of Luziana? Economical, political, or social? Either way, the more important question is why should it matter? Is the trek to the Zacktraeger through Mexico? Seeing as they meet native people remeniscent of ancient South America, and Mexico is a perfectl...

Re: Documentary ideas and suggestions
I find that a documentary should be made out of an earnest interest in a subject. David Attenborough's many animal and plant documentaries are so compelling to watch because of the interest he himself has in the subjects. Whereas lesser documentaries made from thrown together stock footage and a sto...

A Question for you Mr. Shadow Cell. Angry geeks being angry. For some...

Re: CE Gundam and the American Gundam Fanbase.
Anyway, my theory? People don't like change and needed a whipping boy. SEED/SEED Destiny were new so why not? 00 didn't get it 'cause a ton of US Gundam fans saw some of Gundam Wing in it. Except they weren't new, until the disappearance of Kira, SEED was a play by play remake of 0079. Then Destiny...

Re: CE Gundam and the American Gundam Fanbase.
In Japan, it pretty much revitalized the frachise which had been in something of decline in the late 90s and is still pretty popular there to this day Not that popular actually, the big fans of it's day have probably long since moved on, and the die-hard Gundam fans are still all about the UC. The ...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk I
Okay then...here's a question: can anyone identify the gun that Daguza uses in episode 2? Is it based off anything we have today, or was it created specifically for Unicorn? Is there anything remotely similar? It's based off a ton of guns we have today, looks a lot like a sig sauer except for that ...

Re: Haman vs Kamille
I don't think so, there's just not really that much to happen between the two. Kamille's battles with the Titans were partly fuelled by the tragedy they caused him and others. Quattro had a deep background with Zeon and Haman herself, so there's something between those two. Kamille and Haman though,...

that gonna be cool. i also remembered one point and added it to the main post. i still wonder why... If Tomino made Compilation Movies for his earlier works (Gundam & Ideon) since they both cutted/canceled in the finale, to complete his works. why he didn't do that for F91 ?? :/ F91 is a movie,...

I'm inclined to disbelieve it purely based on the source. If directly referencing wikipedia in a paper for a respectable university gives you a zero, referencing TV Tropes should get you expelled, then tarred and feathered.

1. It's pretty damn expensive, but on the plus side you get to play with a bunch of LEDs I guess. 2. Pros: -Bigger than a high grade. -Looks just as good despite lower detail construction. -Does have LED GN drives. -A lot cheaper than the PG, especially for shipping I'd imagine. Cons: -Articulation ...

And shotguns in Halo are still manually fed and pumped. Dunno much about how much it's changed in that universe. There are already mag-fed, semi and fully automatic shotguns out there already, it's just that with something like a shotgun there's never really that much of a need for any of those in ...

Replacement parts are usually charged on something resembling a per part pricing scheme, so if that's a big ass runner of parts, it's gonna be expensive.
