Re: Gundam: The Origin Preorders

Wow! I haven't read my copy yet, but wow! That's a lot of errors. I'm really happy that the Origin is getting a nice release here (the quality of the book itself is amazing), but I can't believe they made so many errors. Hopefully with Deacon's help and further research, this can be fixed with the n...

Re: What's Your Current Anime? Mk III

I'm currently rewatching the Tenchi Muyo! OVA and GXP for the first time since they were on Toonami way back when and LOVING IT! I also noticed a newer Tenchi series called War On Geminar which looks interesting, so I'll check it out next. I'm also attempting to finish Tiger and Bunny and Fafner. Bu...

Re: Psycho Pass, anyone?

Just started this yesterday, now on episode 11! I'll catch up soon. So far I'm really enjoying it. The first two episodes were a little iffy for me, but episode 3 hooked me in. The story is great so far and the whole concept is very original and interesting! Best non-mecha anime I've watched in quit...

Re: Looking for the name of an old Mech game

Not sure about the "pillars" thing, but here are some guesses:
Shattered Steel
MechWarrior
Battlecorps
Epidemic
Ghen War
Shogo Mobile Armor Division

If you don't recognize the name, just look up gameplay on Youtube.

Re: What's Your Current Anime? Mk III

Right now I'm watching the original 1979 Mobile Suit Gundam. I'm actually enjoying it quite a bit! I'm about a dozen episodes in and will definitely see it through to the end. Love the 70s animation and vibes. The thing I'm surprised by the most is how well the show has aged, watch-ability wise. I'...

I watching Ideon and Code Geass for the first time. I'm also working on rewatching Turn-A since the dvd release got canned. I'm also trying to watch Space Knight Tekkaman and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

Re: SDGO coming to the US

I just started playing this game today and I'm a little confused. How do you buy capsules? They say they cost so many "points", but when I click draw it wants coins. And to buy coins, you need astro which you have to pay for. So is the only way to get new suits through questing or just pa...

Re: End of the line for Bandai Entertainment

It's definitely terrible news, especially since we won't get some of what was promised. But MAYBE once there licensing expires, another company will pick up some of the stuff that won't be released. Gundam in America is most likely done though, with the exception of Unicorn. Maybe someone will pick ...

Re: Front Mission

The only game I have played in this series is Front Mission Evolved (although I do plan on playing some of the older ones now), and I must say it is nowhere near as bad as people say. It's pretty simple and a little short, but overall really fun to play. The funny thing is that it plays VERY similar...

Re: Gundamn! Mailbag Drop Box

I've noticed a trend that seems to be happening with your shows especially after listening to older episodes. It seems like a lot of times when you guys express doubt about an anime getting released in the US or getting made period, it ends up happening...especially when it comes to Bandai. I rememb...

Re: Mobile Suit Gundam Live action

Why would you even want a live action Gundam movie? Wasn't G Saviour bad enough for you? I honestly think some things should stay animated and Gundam is definitely one of them. If anything, they should make more original animated movies of Gundam.

Re: What's Your Current Anime? Mk III

Just finished Seed Destiny including Final Plus. Not as bad as most people say it is, but definitely my least favorite Gundam series (which is worlds above my least favorite anime series). I also finished Aura Battler Dunbine the other day. It was a great series and definitely worth watching. I will...

Re: Ep. 081 - An Englishman in King Arthur's Court, Revisite

Another great podcast guys. I own one of the other four copies of Zone of the Enders Second Runner. As for adding mecha to a show, how about Outlaw Star? That show already had grappler ships so transforming ships would be the next logical step. I also own one of the four other copies of ZOE 2. Only...

Re: The Gundam Movies worth watching?

Just got done watching the original Gundam Trilogy. I was really impressed by how well they compressed the story, although half the time I must admit that I was waiting for the interlude to pop up. It really does move really fast though, but it does it in a way that the story is still very understan...
