Re: The Official Gundam Reconguista Anime Thread Mk II
...if that's the case how did the G-Self end up solo? You think that if they thought it sucked they'd have had another partner... unless they saw potential in the G-Self's speed or something that it was good at but not overall combat supposedly. Actually sending it alone makes perfect sense. They t...

Re: How far away are we from Mecha Show Tech Levels?
Speaking about powered armor. Did anyone watch Sci-Fi Science on Discovery Channel? They tackled the problem of building a lightsaber, a powered armor, warp travel and some other cool stuff like how to build a death star. Now from what a remember of the powered armor episode, I think we are not too ...

Re: YF-21 unrestricted acceleration
There is only one problem with that: Eyes only weight about 10 grams, which i s clearly not enough for them to get crushed under their own weight. Well if your eyes are being pushed backwards thats not them being crushed under their own weight. Its being pushed towards his brain by the increasing a...

Re: YF-21 unrestricted acceleration
I'm aware off the effects of pulling to much Gs, I might be nitpicking but he was basically flying in straight line when his eyes went "pop", basically he was experiencing an acceleration vector in the direction in which the body is the most resistant to it... I guess I'm just really nitp...

YF-21 unrestricted acceleration
Hi, I've just finished watching the Macross Plus movie, and was wondering what kind of acceleration the YF-21 was able to achieve to cause Guld eyes to basically pop(that was quite disgusting by the way)... MAHQ mention G-limits for the airframe of +32.5 G/-17.2 G. And human have been shown to survi...

Re: Ez8's right to bear arms
I just rewatched the scene. The Ez8 dodge heat rod by spinning and during a brief moment, the dead arm get into a position where it could have appeared on the camera since the head was also tilted down at that moment. After ward it's just a matter of targeting it and grabbing it. It didn't even have...

I've never heard about being able to regenerate the pilot, but there was some tidbit in the show about nanomachines that helped self-repair the machine. At its full potential with the Moonlight Butterfly activated however, I can't imagine what would be able to destroy the suit and kill the pilot (T...

Turn A Gundam
Hi, I've just finished watching Turn A, and I'm glad the ending wasn't some journey into depression land like V gundam was. V Gundam was actually the first anime that almost made me cry... Anyway let's get to the point. That ending left me with some questions: Why was the Turn A's moonlight butterfl...
