Re: Neo's News - Listener Submitted News Articles MK II
I'd qualify this one as a head-scratcher... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhYLtTAt58A&context=C3a9f760ADOEgsToPDskJcuB0c5CObDYCoChUtEMHr Gundam.info has started Streaming SD Gundam Sangokuden. That's not the weird part, the weird part is 1. they dubbed it and 2. they have made no noticeable ann...

Re: Ep. 093 - At World's End
I love that Chris brought up the inconsistent dubbing issues. Holy crap.
Wasn't the Gihren from 08th team, the one from the early movie dub though? I'm not sure.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread Mk 1
I went into this show in much the same mindset I did with Transformers Animated believe it or not, and I'm having similar impressions so far. Very fluid animation, solid acting and some really nice, but subtle nods to old Gundam that left me with a huge smile. Overall, I think this show is on the ri...

http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2011/09/gundam-age-2-age-3-revealed.html Gundam Guy's on it again. Pics of the AGE-2 and AGE-3. It looks like they're going for a homage to the original timeline. (Very cool) If you ask me AGE-2 has a real Zeta vibe to it and AGE-3 looks very ZZ. Along with the AGE-1 lo...

Re: Gundamn! Mailbag Drop Box
Hey guys, Its the "mysterious" Nick Izumi again and I have a strange Gundam pet peeve to ask about. I own the Gundam movie DVDs, but I was very very distressed with the audio. Not only because they did not include the english dub I grew up with, (which while the technobable and translation...

Re: Ep. 077 - Pedobear North Strikes Back!
Another good episode guys! I suppose I should check out the new SRW. It sounds fun enough.
Not gonna lie, it was fun hearing my screen name read during ht news, but to Neo's credit, I am rather mysterious.

Re: Ep. 076 - The Gospel of Anime Moses
Hey guys, I just started the episode but I'd really like to praise everyone, especially Chris on his brilliant rant against elitist anime fans and their stupid justifications for not buying anime they "like." I've been saying the same for years, but you phrased it so well. I also want to p...

Re: Neo's News - Listener Submitted News Articles MK II
Hi guys, I'm a long-time listener and mostly a forum lurker, but here's some interesting news: Gundam Unicorn FINALLY Gets a US DVD release: http://store.bandai-ent.com/product_p/669198200564.htm The First volume contains episodes 1 and 2 and will have both language tracks along with some extras. As...

Re: Ep. 068 - Christmas Bebop!
While I LOVE Steve Blum, my definitive role for him will always be what I first heard him in, which was Char Aznable on the original US Gundam Movie dub. I treasure those tapes and while they get very little respect from a lot of people, I would absolutely love to have a DVD with that dub on it..

Favorite Damashii Figures
So the Robot Damashii line is very underway. I've been enjoying the figures thus far, though I can't afford much more than one every few months. (I love being a broke student) Are there any you guys have enjoyed? A few of my own: The 00 Gundam: I was just blown away by the articulation on this figur...

Gundamn and Mecha Talk Shoutouts from Wisconsin
Hi Mecha Talk, I know its been a LOOOONG while since my last post but I thought some of you might enjoy a couple little anecdotes from a recent con. I was a founder of Daisho Con in WI and I've been running pretty much all of its mecha related panels. This year I had the pleasure of hosting a Macros...

I agree with the caller who commented on the having to skip episodes to avoid spoilers. I don't watch fansubs, its just not my thing and its a real bummer to only get to listen to only parts of the podcast. I liked the G-Savior bit but I honestly wish you guys would have talked more about the poor q...

I also agree the fact there hasn't been a new MSiA release announced in quite a while is one of the unfortunate signs of the end of MSiA. A real shame too since they only really released the main Gundams of 00, the only cannon fodder being the Tieren, which was also pretty high priced. Another less ...

For me what happened is simple... I can't afford a whole set of 2500 yen figures. 1500 was okay, but when all of them are in that range, I just can't afford it. Unfortunatley that means I'll be passing most of the Robot Damashii line too. Which is a shame because what I have is absolutely great. Bum...

Thanks again guys. I will be looking at bases too now that you mentioned it, that'd be cool for a diorama I want to make. I'm thinking Exia and an Over Flag for starters. (Believe it or not, I like the big hands... lol) I'm not a big fan of the Tieran but since so many of you seem to think its a sol...

Hm... noted. LIke I said my shelf space and budget don't really allow for 1/100 much. I just don't have anywhere to put them is the big issue.firefox wrote:The 1/100 oo models are great, if you have the money stick to those, i personally had it with 1/144 HG, there is always something wrong with it.

I can vouch for the Code Geass Robot Damashii figures that durability, strong joints, and posability are all included. I'm willing to guess the same carries over for the Gundam line, but expect a very high quility, if not high priced MSiA. (The price is the key thing keeping me from collecting them....
