Re: Comic Books (other than manga)

Just re-read X-23: Innocence Lost and Batman: Under the Hood . Fascinating books. I'm getting into the X-23 stuff too. Someone on the CBR boards described her as "like Cassandra Cain, but treated better by the company", and since I'm a fan of Cass and she's in limbo at the moment, I decid...

Re: What game/s are you progressing with?(post in here!)

currently working my way in Heavy Rain. i must say it is one of the best games i have played. the story is something you would find in a book or movie. the gameplay takes getting use to but grows on you pretty fast. also the story changes based on your actions or failures so even if you mess a part ...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread Mk II

1st off i love Decil. he has something about him that even being so young seems like he knows what he is doing and enjoys being a bad guy. also i liked how he gave the Gundam back as if to taunt in his own way. he was both a little kid and cunning at the same time. but i didnt like how Grudek magica...

Re: Avengers film 2012

After the Avengers film Marvel should really slow the production speed down, give the various franchises a breather, otherwise the movie going audience is really going to burn out and get sick of comic book films. Hollywood, if nothing is great at ruining a genre by overdoing it, cramming a lot of ...

Re: What books are you reading?

just finished Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. it was a very fun twist on American History. didn't expect it to be as good as it was and still stay reasonably true to history. the author managed to blend the real events and the fictional ones so it seemed possible that this could have happened witho...

Re: What's Your Current Anime? Mk II

just finished Heroic Age.

really like the series. the fact that the hero of the story is not the main character was interesting. some of the middle/late episodes were a bit wordy and over explained but still good.

Re: Real Robot??

the main difference is how the macha or everyday tech is presented in the show. the most basic way to define a "real" robot is that it is a military unit not much different then any tank or aircraft. Mobile Suits, Knightmare Frames or Variable fighter are just thats universe's standard wea...

Re: Iron Man II

It makes me wonder if after seeing a new armor in the movie trailer if Stark may use 1-2 of his other armors? I remember in a pic once there was a pic of the hall of armors. there has been 3 new armors confirm in the trailers the Mk IV, the Suit case armor, and the one with triangle from them battl...

Re: Who controls the space colonies' day/night cycling?

well for any fully closed type it could be as easy as shutting off/dimming lights used. as for controlling when this happens i would guess this is run by a computer with a human tech to ensure its operating. as for why humans (for the most part) are naturally more active during the the day. some stu...

Re: What's Your Latest Game? Mk II

beat finally Batman: Arkham Asylum. its kind of like Batman meets MGS with lots of stealth gameplay. the story is simple but plays out nicely slowly building as you advance ad drives the gameplay. the voice cast is amazing. Kevin Conroy(Batman), Mark Hamill(Joker), and Arleen Sorkin(Harley Quinn) al...
