Re: Chaos Theater Mailbag Drop Box

There are other one piece merchandise out there such as figurines, apparel, games, model kits of the last two ships, and even book ends! Is there any One Piece merchandise aside from the anime or manga that you have purchased? Is there something that's on your must have list?

Re: Ep. 070 - The Dialogues Have Come

Oh, well thanks A LOT, "Doctor" Phil! I moved out years before you were ever on this podcast! And what kind of man lives in a basement?  That question was from ages ago, but thanks for your insight, gentlemen. I laughed very hard, but it was good advice. Things have been much...

Re: Ep. 069 - Stark Raving Madhouse!

Thanks for the episode. Interesting perspectives, as always. I know the cast more or less give a pass to the original Tron, but i wanted to toss in a footnote. With the technical limitations of early 1980s hardware, the CG was limited to just under a total of 20 minutes. The lines in that original ...

Re: Topic Submission Thread Mark II

I'd like to suggest an American Robot Roundup. It would be an ongoing series that would touch on American robot series and movies, both live action and animated. There's plenty of stuff out there to spotlight. Examples include: Exo-Squad Symbiotic Titan Robot JOX Megas XLR IGPX Beast Wars Starship T...

Re: Ep. 068 - Christmas Bebop!

Thanks for this episode. I'm a pretty big Bebop fan, and since you guys didn't have any comments on the manga, I'd like to contribute a few notes. Sorry but I haven't read these since I purchased the manga box set from Suncoast. Yeah, it's been that long. The manga is split into two small sets of vo...

Re: Ep. 064 - Straight, No Chaser

Definitely this was, as the title implied, a straight shot and a good one at that. You three vented quite a bit, and it was done as cordial as trolls can be discussed. Certainly the Gundamn podcast will continue to address the pains of trolling. However, as I'm sure fellow long time listeners can ag...

Re: Ep. 063 - The Postmaster Strikes Back!

Great episode. Thanks for answering my questions. I really liked the comment about 80's cartoons needing a patriotic element to stand a chance. I never considered that.

Re: Ep. 059 - Ghosts and Geists

Here's an idea for James Cameron now, write your own story. Maybe I'm giving you too much credit, but are you (Neo) referring to the two Outer Limits episodes which serve as a basis for the original Terminator? If yes, I'd like to say out "ouch". This was a really good episode. I've heard...

Re: Ep. 045 - Legend of Gundamn Heroes!

This is my second favorite episode, first being Gundamn! Confidential. It inspired me to watch the series, and it surpassed my expectations. Couple footnotes I'd like to throw out: 1. I'd recommend the live action Korean historic war drama series The Immortal Yi Soon Shin for those who enjoy tactica...

Re: Ep. 058 - Gorram! @ MAHQ

Great episode. I was a Joss Whedon fan at least with Buffy and Angel until he decided Willow needed to become a witch. I started to feel he gave way to "design by fan committee" decisions. That made me apprehensive about watching Firefly. However, your review has made me think this is a se...

Re: Gundamn! Mailbag Drop Box

1. This is most likely a topic for Gundamn! Confidential 2 as it's a "hoper and dreamer" question. Do you think a dubbed syndicated US release of the original MSG movies immediately followed by Zeta Gundam in mid-to-late 80s would have proven financially or culturally successful with an Am...

Hi, I'm MrVince. I found the podcast a couple months back and was finally motivated to join the forums.

I'm a mecha fan, but I think I'd be in the minority of fans when I say the Metal Gear series really got me super interested in mecha. I do like macross and gundam a lot too =)
