Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk II

Just watched the 7 minute clip on ANN. I honestly wasn't sure if I would be willing to drop $35 just for a hour episode, blu ray or not. However after watching that I really loved what I saw. Helps that I am a UC fan. I do have the money and I can excuse it as a early birthday present to myself so I...

Re: Topic Submission Thread Mark II

I know Rahxephon was reviewed on the Mahq.net site (quite favorably as well) but have you guys ever thought of doing an Anime Spotlight on that series in an upcoming episode? Would love to hear you guys discuss it.

Re: Ep. 041 - Shipper's Delight!

A And just for the lulz I may as well throw out the worst of Gundam ever...G-Saviour! Mark Curran/ Mimi: I think no explanation is necessary. G-Saviour gets a lot of hate and sometimes it's warranted (however it still has one of the coolest Gundam scenes I think in regards to the fight on the actua...

Re: Ep. 041 - Shipper's Delight!

Another good show. Thanks guys.

I'm surprised in the relationship section one couple, for the good example of a relationship, wasn't mentioned. Have any of you seen Rahxephon? I would have nominated Ayato Kamina and Haruka Shitow. Thought their relationship was pretty good from start to finish.

Does anyone know if you can still get this on DVD as a box set?

I've always wanted the Blue Destiny storyline to be done. The retaking of California Base needs to be animated I feel. There is enough there for a decent sized OVA or if they want they could possibly pushed it to a full series with the episodes in the 20s if you combine the manga and game with some ...

I find the O vs. Exia a bit lame, but at least Setsuna killed Ribbons. And everything is set now... But the question is...where is Graham? I don't really think he's dead. All end bosses are shown to have died. They did that for every major death in the series, even Patrick's fake deaths were given ...

Thanks. I picked the series up on a recommendation some time ago but quickly became a fan of it. Would love to play the games but don't think that would be possible without me learning Japanese.

Status of the Sakura Taisen manga?

I have the 7 volumes put out by Tokyopop. The last volume came out May of last year. Was the series dropped by them?

One thing that struck me as odd, is that the Federation and Kataron ships seem to just be sitting there watching they pretty lights. Didn't anyone say "hey, maybe we should be helping those guys trying to save the world?" Granted, they'd be cannon fodder, but still, they could toss CB a b...

Okay, I've been the resident 00 skeptic here a few times, but I quite enjoyed the episode. I wonder what Sergei is planning ((he's at the least trying to keep tabs on A-Laws) - was what he asked Soma to think over whether to join A-Laws, or something else? EDIT: I meant "skeptic" rather t...

I never watched this movie in japanese. Don't know why but the desire was just never there. It's possible that things were change slightly in order to sync up better with the mouth movements. That's usually why dialogue gets changed slightly if they are still trying to do a direct translation. To be...

What did the Earth Federation control in the UC?

After Char's Counter Attack the Earth Federation's control seemed to lessen. Or at the very least they cared nothing for what happen outside of their control because various factions were allowed to come to power and the Federation weren't the ones that fought them. Just what did the Earth Federatio...

Hmm, I wonder when the Federation started getting distrustful of Anaheim. Was it after they started selling new toys to every single faction that ever opposed them from 0083 onwards (with the exception of the F91/Crossbone machines that were all done in-house as I recall) or was it after they stole...

The one problem with anime on SciFi is the time slot. I don't know SciFi's regular viewers very well, but having all the good anime on one day a week at a really late time slot isn't going to do wonders for anime anymore than Adult Swim's awkward decisions regarding the genre. At least Cartoon Netw...

It's probably the exact opposite, Cartoon Network didn't want their shows so they were forced to go somewhere else, Sci-Fi Channel. After all the failures of the previous Gundams is that really any surprise? When you move a series to a horrible timeslot without giving any notice, and practically di...

I've pretty much written Adult Swim off these past few years. I need my sleep and no longer have the desire to stay up that late just to watch a show. Glad I have a DVR or I'd miss things. Still AS has a stupid time slot to begin with.

Looking forward to hearing what Graham's voice sounds like now. I doubt only his face was messed up as a result of his battle with Setsuna and the Exia. Same for his body parts. I'm expecting a Vaderish setup here and perhaps a similar voice. Remember the red particles from the Tau drives are said t...

Can't wait to see what Graham's new suit looks like. His badassness went up many levels when he took out the Exia and now that he has the mask. He needs a suit that is worthy of his current persona. I'm curious to see to what degree Graham had a hand (if he did have a say) in the creation of the Arr...
