First Gundam's Wappa comes to life

2015 was the year of the hoverboard (prototypes), but youtuber Colin Furze has now made a working hoverbike prototype! The configuration is very similar to Gundam's Wappa.

All we need now is an oversized Gundam and time-delayed sticky bombs..

Re: The Anaheim Gundam List

Eta: The Zeta Rapier I is another forgotten Model Graphix original. This slot could perhaps be given to the MSZ-008 Zeta II from the Z-MSV series; you could argue it's not technically a Gundam, but it's at least semi-official now that it's part of the ReZEL family tree. Theta: Still the ZZ Gundam. ...

Re: Topic Submission Thread MK III

Here's one for you: Has the planned season length a definite impact on the quality of the story and production values of a weekly airing gundam/mecha anime? Could it be a case of less is more, where typically 50 episode long weekly shows are inferior to shows having less episodes to tell their story...

Re: Gundamn@MAHQ Series/OVA/Movie Suggestion Thread MK I

If you're willing to do (hard) space related sci-fi without mecha:

Space Brothers / Uchuu Kyodai - manga (2008), live-action movie (2012) and anime series (2012)
Gravity - the 2013 movie from the same director as "Children of Men"
Moon - 2009, starring Sam Rockwell

Re: Magnet Coating Details

If we're going by animation designs only, then it's interesting to note the joint cylinder caps on the GM II and the GM III (ZZ and Zeta versions). Even if their designs predate The Origin's idea of making a distinction between the regular en magnetic coated joints, they fit the idea. Is there any o...

Re: Ep. 105 - The Courtship of Kio's Father

It had me laughing more than I should as well. ;) That said, isn't Gundam AGE gunning for (mentally) 12 year olds as its primary viewership?.. It also sounds as if the hosts are suffering a bit from Gundam (AGE) fatigue. :p And i'll be laughing if AGE copies a page from Turn A's black history book a...

Re: Kampfer

I never noticed the Kämpfer's small size until you mentioned it. The idea of the MS-18 being based on the Zaku seems an interesting thought, especially when you consider 0080's MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai. They're nearly identical in terms of height, while the Kämpfer is about 13 metric tons lighter than th...

Thanks a lot for Gelgoog info. Wondering does Gyan have butt and leg thrusters? Not as far as I know, which is kind of odd given that it was created by the same developer as the Dom. If anything, the Gyan seems more like an outgrowth of the doomed Zudah lineage, which might explain why its early mo...

Re: AoZ2: Rebels Against Time Mechanics

It may just be me being oblivious to AoZ2's content, but purely from a visual standpoint the RX-106E seems like a machine that bridges the RMS-106 Hi-Zack and the MSN-03 Jagd Doga designs. The Vanargand's modified head and chest, thruster placement on the hips instead of the lower legs, and the plac...

Re: Zeon MS compared the German aircraft.

Well, if you'd like a better fitting aircraft for the Oggo , I'd suggest the Bachem Natter as the better candidate, considering its background and intended use. Btw, never knew the Oggo was inspired by the Hetzer. The Hetzer strikes me as a far more effective/advanced design than the Oggo was meant ...
