Re: The Macross Valkyrie Thread

When were the rollout years for the following: VF-9, VF-14, VA-3, VA-14, VB-6, Neo Glaug, and the Variable Glaug?

Do the Neo Glaug and Variable Glaug have model numbers / vehicle designations?

Does the Neo Glaug have a battroid mode?

Re: The Macross Valkyrie Thread

Thanks for the response, Seto Kaiba.

What mainly bothers me about the VF-5000 and VF-11 is that, aside from their gunpods, they have no other forward-firing ballistic or energy weapon in fighter mode.

What are the advantages of the VF-25 over the VF-19 and VF-22?

Re: The Macross Valkyrie Thread

Is there a reason why the VF-11 seem like a downgrade weapon-wise compared to the older VF-4 and VF-5000?

Does the C model of the VF-11, from Macross 7, have internal missile launchers?

Apparently the J-Wiki cites the Gundam Seed Mechanics and World sourcebook but I'm iffy and wanted to get a little confirmation if I could.

I'm not sure if it a railgun or not.
If I remember right, the info (long distance flight backpack unit equipped with railgun) is from Hobby Japan. Probably the 2017-05 issue.

Is there any info about the Gusion Full City's space booster pack and weapons?
Its weapon is a railgun. Not sure about the caliber or if it's more powerful than the 300 smoothbore cannons.

Regarding the Kimaris Vidar, I'm assuming those two apertures on each movable shield are thrusters?

About the Gusion Rebake Full City, where does it store its halberd?

Re: Super Robot Wars V

Yamato has a very high evasion rate for a mothership and is also a tank due to its wave motion shield.

Mazin Emperor G uses similar attacks as Great Mazinkaiser.

Trivia. Back when SRW Z didsn't release yet, it's mentioned that Takenobu Terada alway want to add Megazone, but the rest of staff aren't too excite about it.
Didn't the first two parts appear in SRW D?

I wouldn't be surprised if Vidar is Ein's consciousness in Gaelio's body.

That's the VF-9 Cutlass. There's another one (Max's) in the hangar.

Re: Say Mecha Talk, Lets Have a Brave Series Topic!

I would also say Transformers Victory should deserve an honorable mention as well considering that the tropes and gimmicks are very braveish and I like to label Star Saber as the Proto brave because of that. The "proto-Brave" thing started with Transformers: Choujin Masterforce. Now that I look bac...

The guns Balofo are referring to aren't the pile bunkers on the forearms. If you look at the link Dark Duel provided, you'll see two small guns in the third picture with the axes, feet and hands.

Happy to see a thread like this exists. I've had this image a while, can't even remember where I found it. But I'm interested in finding out where it's from. I'm figuring a Japanese video game. http://i.imgur.com/6wDmTZW.jpg I think it's from a Japanese tabletop RPG that was first published in the ...
