Re: TFtF Discussion Thread #3
Oh ok, I think I misunderstand that part. Thanks Red for clearing that up. In that case you don’t need my help anymore with those characters. With this being clear, I will excuse myself from the forum. Best of luck to you all guys. Cheers.

Re: TFtF Discussion Thread #3
No, Fritz. I don’t think I’ll "come back". I only here to help; especially to take care of two characters that I made (Randy and Karl) until the end of the arc, which should be very close by now. By transferring both of them out of the RPG, you could free the space for other people. Please...

Re: TFtF Discussion Thread #3
Boy, what a week. Think I could forget about early post-grad graduation, foreign tax law stinks. BTW, do you guys need any help for err... anything RPG-related? I noted that Hellbore seems to enjoy playing Randy.

Re: TFtF Discussion Thread #3
Sigh , I didn’t realize that my leave would cause you guys that much problem. Sorry for not looking back earlier but this week's schedule is killing me and it’s easy to loss myself in study. I think I’ve acted really childish back then. Give me few days to cool off my head some more and I’ll try to...

Re: TFtF Discussion Thread #3
I’m not comfortable with this board anymore, so I’ll take my leave. I don’t think this would trouble you guys since we’re at the end of arc. Emington and Karl could easily leave or stay and become NPC. It’s a pity that I haven’t got the chance to write more about Cara and Alfred, but I think they’ll...

Re: LMF Gundam: Dominion's Rise Discussion Thread
Monarchy-society tends to give certain benefit to those who have royal rights. Perhaps players could pull Code Geass Suzaku background with this element. Even if one is a good pilot, escalate in ranks, and famous; there are certain limitation on what you’ll get from the military. Without certain tit...

Odaiba is not really about Gundam.
I got to say they look menacing in numbers.
a zaku boy, literally, and if you think you've seen the weirdest zaku.

Re: After War Gundam X comments and questions
Really ? With your explanation above then you just barred yourself from “good movie with bad execution” phenomenon, because your understanding emphasized on the movie as a whole with content driven by plot to function as the storytelling devices. This is not what I’m talking about; you start from t...

Re: Land Use Zudah
I don't see a problem. If Zudah also got selected and upgraded into ground type, then we'll see Ground type Zudah which should be different from the space Zudah we know. Whether they'll be a good machine or bad we wouldn't know because "ground type Zudah" doesn't exist, at least officially...

Re: Real World VTOL Dropships compared to Modern Day Helis
Well, the edge on jet VTOL would be the additional speed compared to rotor use machine, while still able to hover and land vertically.

Re: After War Gundam X comments and questions
"Properly done and well executed" are as subjective as anything else. What is "properly done and well executed" to you is not "properly done and well executed" to someone else. And in where did I wrote such sentences that specify "proplery done and well executed&q...

Re: LMF Gundam: Dominion's Rise Discussion Thread
nobility would have their upper-tier ranks based on their titles (Duke, Baron, etc.), and "commoners" would just follow standard military ranks like the LP. That would be Squire and Knight, before going into baron and viscount, etc. Meaning most of the cadet and newbie pilots would be Squ...

Re: After War Gundam X comments and questions
Linear and rigid storyline is not the same as coherent plotting system. A mere well structured show and linear storytelling doesn’t do much toward a coherent plot. You're confusing yourself with thinking a well structured and linear storytelling are the same with coherent plotting system. People alr...

Re: Small Platter...I mean Big Tray question
Well, I don’t see why it’s such a fuss that RX-78 is on trailers when it was ambushed. It’s just there, probably waiting for transportation to a plane or something that isn’t tall enough for MS to walk or crouch inside. Or maybe on laying down position it’s easier to conceal the MS by piling up othe...

The Gouf Custom in question didn't stand so much as a slight chance in that situation. Not even Norris would've been able to turn the tide in that fight. :) You kidding ? If it's Norris he'll jump from hidden underground elevator, butcher the Guntank and escape back underground before he could be s...

Transformable machine, why is it faster?
Transformable machine like the Zeta, Gaplant, etc always depicted having faster speed when they transformed into wave-rider / ship-like-shape. In atmospheric world there is air drag so it’s logical, but how about on space? There’s no air drag in vacuum, so why they still shown transformed MS into sh...

Re: Destiny Gundam's Shield
I think Duraham’s answer is already sufficient. It’s just that a solid shield is a good idea as an insurance against energy shield failure due to lack of energy or damage in combat.

Afterall, Gundams in UC are only named for the inception of significantly new technologies. No, even in UC, Gundams are called Gundams because they want to . I can't agree more. They can get away with almost anything. If they wanted it, they named it, voila * a new Gundam type was born. Like how th...

To me it's more like adds shouting "hey the guntanks are also good, remember to buy the kits".Wingnut wrote:The bit with the Gouf custom getting punked by the Guntanks was certainly an ironic choice as well. Again, a mech is only as good as the pilot seemed to be the message there.
