Re: Doodling General discussion, lol

You should do a fimal version of the Yoshimoto in that pose the design is essentially aesthetically perfect. I disagree. It looks very good in its pose but the center of mass being the legs rather than the torso means it'll have serious problems running. Digit-grade legs are nice but something like...

Re: Seraphic's Section - You call that a knife? 7.20.12

The trick with feather funnels to to make them small enough and in a low enough number that the funnels make up only a small portion of the "feathers" on the wings. I guess it be beter to call them Feather bits in that regard.

Re: Doodling General discussion, lol

I've been throwing some sketches together before going back to work on larger "projects."

Yoshimoto seems to always be getting banged up doesn't he?

I don't get nearly as much practice on fabrics since I actually do more mecha drawing then anything. on the other hand if you're trying to get in more practice, especially quick practice try sketching out people at school when they are sitting around in classes or in the student union.

Re: Seraphic's Section - You call that a knife? 4.7.12

I have more trouble with getting hair "right" then folds in clothing. my major downfall in clothing is remembering to factor in the thickness of material. or not knowing how something is tied or wrapped or what have you. of course Google is always happy to shed light on the latter. no AC V...

Re: What game/s are you progressing with?(post in here!)

Don't get me started on the ME3 ending and Bioware's shamelessness about it, because I will never ZOINKS stop. I'm with you there. and the thing is, it's not even about it not being the "ending I wanted" or what not. rather it's because it was so....poorly written and 90% of it feels like...

Re: Armored Core V

Here's what I found a while back but forgot to note here: As another rule of thumb, light and medium ACs favour KE and/or CE defense; heavy ACs and tanks favour TE defense; snipers favour CE defense. This was a pattern I found when experimenting with building different AC types in the garage. On on...

Re: Armored Core V

XBox 360 crash any help would be welcomed. Not sure if you got my PM. Hit me up on live, my GamerTag is the same as my screen name here. Hell anyone with a 360 can add me, my friends list is damn near empty. /tear. Finding the later Order missions to be absolutely insane. In one of them, I was cons...

Re: Armored Core V

Allow yourself time to play around with AC configurations. Perform AC Tests after setting up an AC to allow yourself time to get the hang of it's mobility and quarks.

Which platform are you on Turtle? 360 or PS3?

Re: Thoughts about funnels

I thought there was a spot in Unicorn ep1 where one of the Kshatriya's bits had trouble aiming at a downed Jagen because of gravity that close to the the colony's ground.

Re: Beam gatling vrs beam rifle in ground combat

I'd go with route C: install just an aux generator in it's place to amp up the power to my existing armaments. the unit's armaments already over a vast majority of the ranges that ground combat in UC can be expected to occur at. further I'd probably end up lighter for it and thus slightly more mobile.

Re: Armored Core 5 announced.

A great way to shorten the OP would be to cut from the raven at the beginning directly to the grid blade & assault armor sequence at 0:49 and onwards. and I'd highly suggest keeping the excellent audio in that sequence you did an amazing job there. Cut your boosters off as you turn, your AC will...

I agree, I'm quite surprised the "theater" hasn't caught like wild fire in competitive multiplayer games yet. (oh god I'm actually posting a one liner.)

Nice Vid man. I particularly enjoy the way you edited together that opening, even if it was rather lengthy. I strongly suggest you get together with another person who can record their game play to show two perspectives of the matches (allowing you to draw it out while largely maintaining raw ass ki...

I like these shots with scale comparisons of infantry next to your mecha. might I suggest a shot of the interior of a mecha's cockpit?

Nice. I'm really liking the head shots. Will Mr-Hayami be doing the mecha/vehicle art as well?

Re: Doodling General discussion, lol

So I've already shared my opinions with Sera on which of his compare/contrast images where best -imo it was the image in the exact center. That's not what this post is actually going to be about. No rather it's going to be about something that came up during our conversation or more correctly spawne...
