Re: For How Long Are New Kits Released After A Series End?
Well, let's take 00 into account. Not counting the movie or the movie related Gunpla, the last episode aired in Japan for the first time on March 29, 2009. The last 1/144 HG release that related to the TV series only (not the side story mangas or the movie) was the 1/144 HG Reborns Gundam Trans-AM m...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI
Derringer is an insider, I think he would know... I guess we will have to wait and see.
I'd like to see a Genoace O Custom before they finish off the HG AGE series.

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI
ABS isn't harder, it's a touch softer and ever so slightly rubbery which makes it more durable for joints and such. You can tell that it's softer by the way it cuts, when you clip a part of PS plastic sometimes the nub will splinter because it's hardness makes it brittle. ABS plastic almost never sp...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI
I've been looking all over and I can't find anything that says Nu Gundam is going to be ABS-less. Where did you see that or did you just assume because the AGE kits and the Marasai are all ABS-less? Because the SEED MG kits have ABS, or am I wrong there?

That's been shopped (if you can obviously tell). There is another one of the Zeta circling around the net too.

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI
I'm calling it right now, Bandai is trolling us. The picture says "FOR NEW EVOLUTION" - Nu Gundam Evolve Version.
On a more serious note, I'm going to actually guess something from the GP series, most likely GP-01Fb.

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI
I'm very skeptical about that. Why would they announce something for January of next year when we don't know anything for the later part of 2012. Heck, right now we only know what's coming through September and that's only because of Shizuoka's Hobby Show.

Re: My Ongoing Modeling Questions Thread
Grey primer is preferred because it's neutral. I'm actually not sure if it is actually preferred over white or not come to think of it. I've always gone my the rule of thumb if painting figures of people (like a resin statue) white is easiest to paint flesh tones over. And Mech get grey primer becau...

Gundam Wing Revival Project Group Build and Competitions!
Attention! Attention! May I have your attention, please. Squeam (aka TimberNewtype on YouTube) and I, Joe of Joe's Gunpla, have been working on a BIG undertaking of a project. Over the course of the last year with the release of many Master Grades related to Gundam Wing and Endless Waltz along with ...

Re: My Ongoing Modeling Questions Thread
I've heard they react negatively to enamels. I would say lacquers if sprayed on in a thin coat would be for or acrylics. But since ABS is usually used on moving parts, acrylics would need a really good topcoat of future floor polish or something. I personally have never encountered enamel eating my ...

Re: Bazooka fitted MG Sinanju question
I am happy to report my Sinanju is currently holding his Rifle/Bazooka combo up at a 45 degree angle just fine. The left arm is toting the shield/double gatlings/bazooka combo and can bend it's elbow up 90 degrees and keep it there. You may have different experiences based on your personal build, bu...

hardware epoxies generally speaking are a lot harder to work with than hobby putties. Do you have a Hobby Lobby nearby? They carry milliput.

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI
If they are going to mold sets of fingers that you have to swap out, I would rather them give me multiple sets of hands! Either give me a decent set of movable hands or I want a set of full fists, a trigger finger hand for each hand held weapon on either side of the body, a beam saber holding hand f...

Alright, guys lets not attack the guy for using Gundam Markers. I've used them for years and only had an issue starting out and they have worked fine ever since and can look really nice if you use them properly. Second, I don't know what chemicals are in bug spray, but my guess is the plastic has be...

Re: Gundam Characters You wish that Survived>
I would have loved to see EW with Trieze still alive. He manipulated so much, sacrificed so many people, and caused the biggest war in that universe's history! It would have been nice for him to see the peace that he was trying to build through such chaos. Would he have let his daughter get away wit...
