Re: The Official Macross Delta Anime Thread Mk I
Well there was a lot of foreshadowing but seriously its like they killed him to make the show a tad more dramatic, as if having a small kid singing brainwashing songs to the death is not enough.

Re: Saint Seiya
I have been a fan of Saint Seiya since I was a kid, back in the 1990s it came in France where I used to live and it was so popular that a French singer made an OP for the French version broadcast which they called Kinghts of Zodiacs. Even my mom and aunties used to watch it because of the drama and ...

Re: The Official Macross Delta Anime Thread Mk I
This is going to sound weird coming from me, but I don't get much of a romantic vibe from Freyja and Hayate. There is some nice chemistry between them but they come off more like siblings rather than potential lovers. I actually get the same vibe myself. Of course, that was how I interpreted the in...

Re: The Official Macross Delta Anime Thread Mk I
I will admit I dislike Idol anime genre, Macross is the exception because it balances it well with other themes. Nonetheless Delta does earn a lot of brownies for being fast pace in its first episode, I don't think we have really seen Macross idols throw themselves into a warzone the way Walkure doe...

Re: The Official Gundam Thunderbolt Anime Thread Mk I
Damn, I can't believe Thunderbolt is getting animated! I have already read the first three volumes and its quite addictive. I just hope Bandai doesn't botch it like they tend to usually do for the sake of profit. So far they've done alright with 00 and Build Fighters and Iron Blooded Orphans is on a...

Re: General Fanfiction Discussion 2: Electric Boogaloo
Hey everyone its been a long time since I've threaded in this forum. Now that I am on vacation I've found myself with a lot of free time and I've been rediscovering Gundam and my passion for writing is coming back with a vengeance. There is this Gundam Seed fic I've been trying to develop for a year...

Re: Great Real Robot series of the 90's
There is also Metal Armor Dragonar, its plot is similar to the original Gundam UC but instead of one you've got three protagonists and three mechas. The original Bubblegum crisis series is interesting too, it trends between mecha and cyber punk and the chicks are hot. I also strongly recommend Heavy...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread Mk III
Every great Gundam commanders like Char and Zech have always been soft hearted kinda of guys, but it never really stop them for blowing entire fleets of ships and mobile suits platoons. Zehart is no different, like them he is conflicted betweeen his personal desire and duties, in this case he doesn'...

Re: The First neo Zeon War
I've read this manga before (I forgot the name), a side story of Char's Counter Attack; the story narrated the pull back of Neo Zeon forces following their defeat at Axis. For several months Neo Zeon ground forces were hunted by the Federation until Char rounded them up and sent them back into space...

Re: The Official Gundam 00 Season 2 Thread Mk VII: The Final
I posted the link for the Gundamoo movie in the mecha section but I thought it would be appropriate to add it here as well.
There is still no definite date for when it will come but it should be soon

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
Here is a trailer for Gundam 00 movie (I thought it was again one of those fan made until my cousin told me to play. God bless him) We get to see the four Gundams in action. Honestly the Raphael Gundam and the Quanta J are just too bad ass  You wouldn't want to piss them off. Enjoy http://anime...

Re: New Code Geass Project
Is it possible that Rai from the Lost Color game might make an appearance?
I always thought that Code Geass might be even awesome in a medieval fantasy like Escaflowne period. Guymelef and a Lelouch King of Fanelia, that would be awesome (an interesting fic idea I might add)

Re: Turinu's Design Compendium - She's 90%, Cap'n! 11/04/09
Pretty nifty design you have here! Somehow it reminds me of Linebarel. On weapon suggestion I would recommend a pair of short daggers or throwing knives for close combat (you already have pile bunkers thou) and built in grenade launchers for additional firepower (there is enough space between the ch...

Re: Musai
I always assumed it was sheer arrogance that the ms would keep away any threat to the ship. besides they seemed to be right since they did distroy a good chunk of the efsf fleet in the early part of the war. On that part Zeon had the element of surprise, not to mention they were packing a lot of nu...

Musai
I have always wondered why is it that the Musai lacks any point defenses, surely even if the Feddies hadn't MS when the OYW started they had a large amount of fighters, the MS protecting the ships would have been overwhelmed. Seems to me that the only benefit they have is their long range beam canon...

Re: What's Your Current Manga?
MIXIM chapter 34, by the author of Flame of Recca, a lot of comedy that blends with drama quite nicely. Just finish Bloody Monday, a pretty interesting manga (it made me think about 24, instead Jack Bauer is a 16 year old genius hacker fighting hot big breasted terrorists and American psychotic form...

Re: Games You Could See With an Anime Adaptation
How come nobody is talking about an adaptation of Rockman Zero or should I say Megaman Zero? The plot and the characters are well fleshed out to make an anime. Another Final Fantasy would be nice as well. One set in the Ivalice period would be a major hit. Speaking of adaptation has anyone seen Tear...
