I think everyone above is missing the point. Gundam Seed Destiny completely destroys any minor amount of credibility the seed series may have undeservingly picked up. None of the weapons have stats, nothing has to make sense at all, because the moment you look at a show like destiny and say 'I wonde...

I dont think the idea is first used in the CE though, maybe in one of the other AUs but really when you think about it...handplug powered sabres is sort of a no-brainer Rolling Eyes I think that's a concept just from CE. No-brainer, yes, but nobody thought about it before SEED came out :P If you lo...

I applaud your desire to create models that look like they've been ridden hard and hung up wet, but I really think you would benefit from buying an airbrush and reading THIS PAGE A: Read it twice over B: I own an airbrush (Although I didn't use it) C: That stuff is expensive and I don't want to tak...

I like what you've done with the Zeta. I clicked on the pictures thinking... "Muddy Zeta? Iiiiii don't know about this..." but I think it turned out rather well. Surprisingly well. I'm glad to see that the grime on the Zeta looks more like oil (lubrication for the transforming components?...

I don't think you could substantiate the claim that you need an MS to use your newtype potential you posses (unless of course you've got the biosensor or psycho frame). I think that is what Chris was getting at. Scirocco did have a bio-sensor on his mobile suit (The O) when he fried Kamille's brain...

One thing you all are forgetting in citing examples like Scirocco or Mashymre is that they were in mobile suits. More precisely, they need technology to help them do weird things. It's very rare for Newtypes to do weird things on their own without technology - one of the few examples I can think of...

Here are some of my works that I've gone back and redone. Red Shoulder ground gundam: Bottom Top half As you can see, I've added mud to the legs and washed off some of the excessive black smudges from the rest of the body due to the "unrealistic/out of scale" effect it had. Red Shoulder GM...

i like the dirt and grim effect you added on. For one it gives off a unique effect which is a plus, and it reminds me of trench warfare, which is the dirtiest fighting there is. *stamps on the O'Regan Seal of Approval which is more or less worthless to your forehead* heh, I thought so too. Even if ...

I really like the charred effect. It reminds me of the old Battle scarred MSiAs. BTW, are those actual model kits or MSiAs? They're totally model kits. I got the GM sniper, and the ground gundam vs zaku High Grade models from HLJ a few days ago, so I invited my best pal over, and my brother outside...

One thing to remember when going for a charred look .. Explosions tend to blast outwards, and leave matte black charring. Which means that a proper char effect after an explosion would be basically streaks of matte black charcoal going away from the centre of the explosion, fading as the distance i...

It's okay ZZ, it's not like I'm taking anything all that seriously, It's an internet forum full of gundam fans.

I think that it might not look as good as I was going for, but I do think it looks like charred armor enough for me. I'll just keep trying and getting better at what I do.

Good thing about washes is, you can just wash it off if you don't like it. Perhaps I'll try making it in scale like you suggested, but sometimes you gotta just remember they're half a foot tall toys. Plus, I would think that one would get more than dirt on them, what about char from explosions, oil ...

Just wait until I make my custom GM sniper custom from 8th ms team. I'm going to give it a paint job like a normal 8th MS team ground gundam, except I'll be leaving all the red and blue parts the olive green. I also plan on making another gm sniper, only making it look like the "Chirico red sho...
