Not quite. Gundam Rose's sword was actually a beam saber. I'm also pretty sure that any other physical weapons from G Gundam were heat sabers, which can hold up against beam sabers. Though classed as a Beam Sabre, its either was a straight beam or a real sabre that could erect a beam around it........

Good legs, crap arms, needs painting...overall nice sculpt but the plastics a bit weak compared to newer kits.

Just stick with the 1/100 nice detail and possability but lacks the look of the animated mecha...pus the sword is too big lol

No, beam weapons are not shooting plasma. Beam sabres use plasma which confuses people I think. The energy coming out of a beam rifle isn't the same energy of that in a beam sabre.
