Re: DeviantArt Eclipse
I've been steeling myself by just running with it in Eclipse for the past few months the toggle has been available. At the very least, the dark theme is easier on my eyes. Totally not Artstation, though, clearly coincidental. Goodbye, childhood. I'll still post there though, but I've been leaning mo...

Turinu's Design Compendium - 3/11/2017 - Airgetlam 3D View Sketchfab!
Hey guys! I finally got around to figuring out how to export from Sketchup to Sketchfab! I wanted to put up one of my latest projects, the Airgetlam, so I went ahead and did that. Here's the result! Not as shiny as I wanted it to be, but considering I exported it straight from Sketchup, the Sketchfa...

Whelp, looks like Carrie Fisher's mom was next. Debbie Reynolds passed on yesterday due to a stroke while helping to plan her daughter's funeral, apparently.Dark Duel wrote:And with still another three days to go, who knows might be next?

Man, it's been almost a year since I last posted art on here! My apologies. You can check out most of my more recent stuff via Deviant Art or Pixiv . Anyways, here's some of my more recent stuff: Back when Kuromukuro started airing, I got interested in designing a new inner frame for a mecha. The re...

SO5 (~SD 500ish) takes place between SO2 (~SD 300ish) and SO3 (~SD 700ish). So the plot twist towards the end there is still in place. In regards to SO3, I wouldn't say it was pointless. What I got from it was that it was more a virtual life experiment where it's natural inhabitants gained such an i...

Re: Turinu's Design Compendium - 3/10/2015 - My First Gundam
It is, and I tested it on a 1/60 scale version of Hildebrandt's hand. However the material is too sandy/brittle to be effective. I'd have to get molds made instead and that'd be fairly expensive. :<

Re: Turinu's Design Compendium
So in this particular case I had to use Pixiv (God I love that Ugoira function) but I finally finished my first actual Gundam model! Re: BRO's Gundam Build Fighters RPG Frankens
Very, very nice stuff. I've actually been thinking of getting back into doing stuff like this rather than 3D modeling for members of my GBF board myself. Though laziness and work prevents me from actually pursuing such a thing.
Nonetheless, great stuff! GBF MSL right?

Re: Turinu's Design Compendium - 10/24/2014 - My Best Post E
Hey everyone! Long time no post. So I'm contemplating what model I want to get printed out in 3D next. So I went ahead and setup a poll on my DeviantArt page to see which one you think should get printed. I chose eight models, so select the one you like the most and make your choice on the poll! Re: Dark Duel's Shop-Fu and assorted artsy stuff
Now that I look at it a bit more, you're right. The original head crest and the way it curves kind of throws it off and makes it look like it's part of the head, not the shoulder. Lol.

Aside from that one piece behind the horn that looks like it shouldn't be there (Like the horn was copy/pasted over it), it looks pretty good.

Re: Turinu's Design Compendium - 10/24/2014 - My Best Post E
It does open up a wide range of possibilities... Not only can I get my own models printed, but I can potentially design models for others given plenty of time (I'm lazy) and details and get them printed. It's awesome having a nearby 3D printing shop, :o This one cost $168.10 (6% sales tax, $25 in pr...

Turinu finally got one of his 3D models printed and it's the most awesome thing ever.... to him. Best. Post....

Re: Turinu's Design Compendium - 7/23/2014 - Updates Galore!
Sorry I haven't updated in a long time, guys! However, I went ahead and redesigned the original post and added (I think) all the designs I haven't put up here yet. I'm eventually also going to redesign my Franken Works section to be more friendly on the eyes, but don't have the time for it now. Whil...
