Re: 4th Gundam Fight: Final Gambit: Discussion thread.

Well, I'm gone starting tomorrow, want to just call our fight, save time? It was funny, I was looking at not having Basic till next year, and they sort of sprung it on me. So yeah. :P I'll see you guys when I get back, for the glory of Neo-Greece!

Re: 4th Gundam Fight: Final Gambit: Discussion thread.

To be fair, I did say I was going to post, I was just busy. I had drill over the weekend and am getting ready to head off to basic. But, given the fight may not end in time, you might get to anyway. :P

Re: 4GFFG: Round One: Neo Philippines Neo Greece

The enemies counter-counterattack caught Polynikes somewhat off guard. How fast was his opponent? He'd underestimated the foe yet again, a fact that stung the spartiate somewhat. All this dancing around was certainly effective, if a bit womanly, but he'd come to the fight expecting such things. The ...

Re: 4th Gundam Fight: Final Gambit: Discussion thread.

Right, reply to might fight is going to drop some time during the week. Keep in mind, however, that starting September 14th I'm going to be gone from then until at least late November. I may have minor contact during the period, but if I do it would be a freaking miracle. Basic Training, woo. :/ Aft...

Re: 4GFFG: Round One: Neo Philippines Neo Greece

Polynikes was not in for showy maneuvers or grandstanding. Indeed, he could care less about those watching the matches; their opinions were less than worthless to him. This was a battle, not a popularity contest. Such concerns where beyond that of a true warrior; victory was what truly mattered, vic...

Re: Episode 26 - Operation Maelstrom

-The Herakles- : Hanger Bay : Marco di Manco sat silently in the cockpit of his mobile suit, fingers rhythmically tapping against the arm of his linear seat. He was suited up, helmet floating next to him as simply waited for an order. He expected such an order fairly soon; something in his bones to...

Re: 4GFFG: Round One: Neo Philippines Neo Greece

While no where as outright fast, Polynikes' own unit was nothing to scoff out in speed, and the foe was thinking too direct if he thought he was going score much with this. He was trying to get under the long like, and in a way he had. But what he'd also done was expose himself in a way; this boy wa...

Which brings me to a question: crotch shots to the mecha, transfer full on pain to pilot? :P

Re: 4GFFG: Round One: Neo Philippines Neo Greece

Polynikes felt the pressure against his shield, but the Hoplite Gundam did not move from it's defensive position, allowing the protective field of his special shield absorb the fire. Against ranged attacks, Polynikes had the clear advantage, and the greek warrior knew it. However, his enemy was fast...

Re: 4GFFG: Round One: Neo Philippines Neo Greece

Echoes resounded through the streets of the ruined city, a sound easily traced back to it's origin at the Hoplite Gundam. Polynikes had begun to slam his spear against the front of his large shield, the confines of the city making it sound like an entire line of soldiers were standing at his side. A...

Re: 4th Gundam Fight: Final Gambit: Discussion thread.

Apologize for the delay, working on a reply now. That said, it just occurred to me that if the Pokemon obsessed girl ever meets my guy, she might take a liking to his last name. It is Zabat, a legitimate greek last name, but still.

Re: Episode 25 - Attention [TE]

-The Herakles- : MS Deck : "Good way to get yourself killed, you know." Marco said, feet hooked into the cockpit of his own HiZack. The unit was basic, but that was to be expected; part of him missed his time as a test pilot, but at the same time, that was repetitive and rarely exciting p...

Re: 4th Gundam Fight: Final Gambit: Discussion thread.

I really haven't found the place to post in the banquet again. I really should, I bet. But it'll be generally "Polynikes frowned and went back to eating steak." generally, so no one is missing much. Also, as I stated in the other discussion thread, I'd thought I'd have more time but I'm go...

Re: Episode 24 - A Monster With Many Heads [TE]

-The Herakles- : Pilot Quarters : Lieutenant Manco watched the young pilot leave, anger never leaving his eyes. The boy sure knew how to give the most unintentionally backhanded compliments ever, it would seem, and the Marco made a note that the kid was trouble, and he'd need to be watched; closely...

Re: Episode 24 - A Monster With Many Heads [TE]

-The Herakles- : Pilot Quarters : Marco drug the ensign back slightly and then slammed him back into the bulkhead again, making no attempt to hide the contempt in his eyes. Where did they dig up these guys? Psyke evals needed some serious work if this was the sort of rabble they were letting in now...

Marco pushed off and slammed Orsino back into the wall, eyes narrowing, "Defection is not something we talk about like that, Ensign. That's traitor talk, and it isn't appreciated."

Re: Episode 24 - A Monster With Many Heads [TE]

-The Herakles- : Pilot Quarters : "What? No!" Marco said with a nervous laugh, scratching the back of his head, "Sorry, apparently I wasn't clear. It's just, given this war turning bad, they're going to need all the trained pilots they can get. They can't afford to sack us for minor ...

He'd slipped past Gerwulf after the ensign had entered the hanger, not feeling up to dealing with his personal blend of mental. It would come soon...

Re: 4GFFG: Round Zero-Fanfare

The comment of the foreign woman seemed to amuse some of the simpler rabble gathered here, but to Polynikes it was both something to be ignored here amongst the company of others; and something to be remembered and dealt back in the arena of battle. He did not need to look back to know that Xeones w...
